By The Book Runner If you are looking for a book that is mostly sex without romance, love or commitment and very little story line, this is the book for you.Womanizer Drew Walker has dreamed of Wendy Carmichael since he met her five years ago at a friend's wedding. He gets her to agree to a short term affair with him, hoping to get her out of his system before he moves from San Francisco to Boston. After just being dumped by her fiance six months before, Wendy agrees to Drew's idea since she finds him almost irresistible. So the reader is taken on a six week sex-a-thon while these two supposedly fall in love. Ha! Lust and love are not the same things, and these are the two most career selfish people you have ever seen.I did not find either character very likable and would not give their relationship 5 months. I like my romance novels to actually have some romance in them.Would I/Did I buy it? Yes (.99)Would I read it again? NoWould I recommend it to friends? No

By Amazon Customer While I enjoyed the actual STORY in this book, I almost couldn't concentrate on it, because of all the grammatical errors, missing words, misspellings, punctuation faux pas, and typos. I don't know how these Kindle editions come to be... whether they are scanned in by the publisher or typed out by means of a Dictaphone, but all of the written errors were ridiculous. In some places, "his" was written instead of "hers"... "door nobs" - really??? KNOBS. There were SEVERAL places where I had to reread a sentence because an entire word was missing; which wasn't helped by the fact that there were so many run-on sentences, that sometimes you had to start the paragraph over, because half a page was one paragraph, but also one sentence. This author was definitely no English major. That aside, I found the story-line interesting, and the characters likable enough. The sex scenes were interesting, but surely there's more than one word for that part of the male anatomy? Fairly one-dimensional, and riddled with errors on almost every page made getting through this book a real challenge for me, but the plot and story-line flowed well. Clean up all the errors, and it would be a much easier read. As it is, I will not be torturing myself enough to read another title by this author.

I would have like to have a more concrete ending and even Alan catching his ex happy with an adontis of a man equally a playback moment. It was a quick cant put it down kind of book that I enjoyed a lot. I just felt there needed to have some closing in some areas like Alan finding out or her best friend hearing the good news and planning a wedding. I am left wanting more!

She loves to make dolls in a shed out in back of the house. She lives with Lord Wixby and Aunt May in a lavish estate at the edge of town. Aunt May teaches her to use a sewing machine and gives her a small one suited to size as a birthday gift. One day while constructing a toy soldier for her brother, Alfred the Mouse appears and is impressed with her ability to make doll outfits and reluctantly invites her to follow him to Kira if she will bring along the sewing machine. Tammy keeps a diary of her exploits in Kira which is ruled with an iron-hand by a pair of sorceresses, Catherine and Lucinda. Tammy and Alfred find their way through a fantasy underground transportation system that ends up with the pair mistakenly ending up in a wicker-basket in the middle of the ocean. Tammy writes of her fascination with her aunt's sewing machine and begins making dolls in the shed.What follows is a magical journey to Kira where she travels across the enchanted land in a quest to bring the kingdom to its former glory. Evil princesses, Lucinda and Catherine rule the kingdom with an iron hand that must be stopped.Before the quest is over you will meet a rag-tag group of pirates, the Kukana elves, the korgoyle, and the terrible Hoarggs. This is a wonderland where flowers and animals talk quite freely. Plan to fall in love with Zeke the adorable opossum and Cedric the flying mongoose who become best friends with Tammy.The diary is lavishly illustrated and will bring the story to life for the youngest and oldest of readers. One can easily compare this to Wizard of Oz, Alice in Wonderland, Narnia, and other children's classics. It is a magical tale like Narnia or Alice In Wonderland.Tammy is mute and a very creative little girl. One day when working in her workshop she meets a talking mouse and follows him to Kira; a land where even the animals speak. The inhabitants of Kira are ruled by two evil Sorceresses, Catherine and Lucinda. Tammy listens to the stories of harsh taxes, little food and decides to start a journey to take a petition to the capital city on behalf of the citizens.On her journey she meets all kinds of inhabitants from the Kakuna to the Hoargg. The whole kingdom is afraid of the Hoargg with rumors that they eat anyone that comes into their forest. Tammy, of course, doesn't believe they could be that bad and insists on going to meet them. After all, if they are to defeat Catherine and Lucinda all of the villages must be united.What follows is a story that includes lessons on courage, compassion, not judgingthings/people by how they look and more. The lessons are subtle but they are there.This is a great book for parents to read with their young children. The lessons truly will benefit all and the story is magical.I received this book free from the author through Library Thing for review purposes. Just a short note in addition to the review: Make sure when choosing the Little Girl Doll that you choose the age appropriate one. There is one for ages 8-12 (a bit shorter) and one for 12 to adult.

I would agree, the main character is a little girl (Tammy) who finds herself in a fantastic world with all kinds of creatures, some friendly and some evil. The events in the world of Kira give Tammy the chance to develop bravery, friendship, and leadership skills, which she had a harder time with in her real world. There are different versions of the books for different age levels. I do appreciate that the sorceresses and their evil spells are shown to be wrong, while the "good guys" go into battle after saying a prayer to God.I received a free copy of this book through Goodreads

She is the CFO of the company she worked for when Erik left, she has a small circle of close friends, and she's happy, albeit a bittersweet sort of happy. Erik, too, has a comfortable life. His professional success has led to him being announced as the new president of the company Beryl works for, a hire that may lead to her getting fired.These two have a wee tad of resentment built up for each other. She's hurt and angry that he left her, and he's hurt and angry that she didn't support his decision to do something he felt was right for him. When they meet again, there are a myriad of feels going on, one of which might just be lust.This is a quick, emotional novella, the story of two people never should have parted. Fifteen years is a long time, though. Maybe they've changed too much in the interim. She's at the top as the CFO for her company and has achieved great respect among her coworkers. However, when the exiting president of the company announces his replacement, she is shaken to the core.Erik Lindholm has achieved it all, he's reached the office of president. He should be happy, but when he realizes that Beryl Foster is the CFO of the company he's now in charge of, everything changes.Both have a history - together. However, that history was broken 15 years prior when they were each bent on achieving their career goals. Flash forward and they are each re-evaluating everything. Were the decisions made so long ago the right ones? Could they have made a terrible mistake? Is there any way to fix things between them?This is a sweet story of two people coming to grips with past decisions in a more mature way. They're older and wiser now. A lovely Christmas romance By Marsha @ Keeper Bookshelf Fifteen years ago Erik and Beryl were a young couple in love building their personal and professional futures. When there was a business decision to be made each had an opinion, and when a compromise couldn’t be worked out Erik made a decision to accept a job far away from where Beryl was building her career… without telling her first. Beryl walked away, and they each rose through almost a parallel of corporate ranks to high positions in competitor companies. Now the president of Beryl’s company is stepping down for retirement and bringing in an outside of the company man for the new president position – Erik.Beryl expected there to be a shakeup when her company’s president retired, she hoped in the back of her mind that she might be considered for the position but knew that was a long shot. She was also aware that with a new president there would be positional changes taking place as well – rumor has it that she was on the short list to be replaced. While her career has brought her much financial stability and pride, she also has another profession – one that she hasn’t advertised among her colleagues. She is a successful author of historical romances, publishing under a pen name. So should she lose her position she wouldn’t be penniless until she could secure another – she prayed that situation didn’t happen, but it is a business world that makes decisions based on the company president’s choice of who is best for the job.The absolute last thing she expected to learn was that the man she’d loved, trusted and planned a future with would be the one named as the new president. Now she had no idea of how to secure her future with this company with Erik at the head. Surely he would want to bring in his own team – and certainly they couldn’t work together with their history – could they?Twelve Nights is a delightful story of past loves reconnecting and rediscovering that the emotions have survived the years apart. The tricky part is how to deal with those emotions today – and with a company policy of non-dating within it’s ranks. And… it’s also a snapshot of just how social media has entered absolutely every aspect of our lives these days, even when we aren’t aware of the chatter.Erik and Beryl were such a believable couple in every aspect. A strong love may die down, but when the embers are tended to it can flare into a full fire once again. They have a charming history and an amazingly sweet Christmas tradition that involves a certain Christmas song. I loved spending time with this couple. They had a past that they worked out as intelligent adults, saw problems and came up with realistic solutions and stayed true to themselves within their compromises. Never trust a book by its cover is advice that Lauren teaches wonerfully. This book is perfect for any woman in your life. I'm 20 years old and this book was as relevant to me as it would be to a young girl in middle school with her first crush or even post grad students. If you know anyone who has kissed their fair share of frogs, this book is for them!

It is the perfect book for young girls to learn from Lauren's experiences with the boys she has dated. She has written this book with a delightful sense of humor about all the "frogs" she has kissed, and of course ..... has yet to find her Prince. With a sincere optimistic belief that he will eventually turn up and sweep her off her feet, Lauren encourages young girls to keep looking, just like she is doing. Her first book was so informative about developing into a well rounded, intelligent, successful and goal oriented young woman that I was anxious to read this second one. She is such a fine writer, and keeps the readers interest peaked at all times. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!

It is funny, thoughtful and a great way to open kid friendly discussions on getting frustrated, trying again, work ethic, believing in yourself and having a dream. As parents we are not perfect and I appreciate the reality of the adult characters, the conflicts we face and the fine line between encouraging and allowing a child to be who they are in the moment. Beautiful illustrations and of course the book is a double score for any Messi fan!! Buying another copy for my nephew and all the little soccer fans in our lives, the personalized version, will make for an extra special gift.

As the owner of a summer camp, I was looking for some good books to add to our SEL (Social Emotional Learning) library. I was recommended this book and we're adding it to our collection. This book is a great one to read with any primary aged child, boy or girl. You can hook them with the soccer/sports angle, but the book is a great tool to talk about tough emotions like shyness, fear, frustration and uplifting ones like confidence, kindness and love. Great for facilitating a discussion about role models and family roles as well. Highly recommend for parents or schools and organizations with readers of different levels.

By Amazon Customer If you and your kids want to enjoy a great book about soccer, Sean wants to be Messi: A fun picture book about soccer and inspiration for children ages 5-9. US edition is the ONE! It is entertaining for both child and parent as the reader follows Sean and his mother through Sean's daily love (some might say obsession) of the game of soccer. We read together as Sean struggles with math in school, and finds his redemption in the game of soccer. For those who don't know of Lionel Messi, the world-class star soccer player for Barcelona, he is not only one of the best players ever to run the field, he is also a nice guy. My eight-year-old son does not play soccer, but he is now interested after having Googled Messi's name and learning about him! He thought that Messi was a funny name at first, but he's used to it now, opening his mind up to a whole new world of cultures and societies and languages! The two of us have not only learned about soccer and math, but also about the countries where this most popular sport in the world is played.

I flipped through the book and found it to be pretty age appropriate and on level for her (shes reading at a 2nd grade level). It was a high interest book for her and got her excited about reading, which is important to me. The description says its for reading level 1-4, as a teacher I would say that this would be too below level for a kid reading on a 3rd or 4th grade level.

Because they used some of the same writers as the show this has been an extremely faithful transition from the cartoon. The art and the dialogue are so spot on i feel like i'm just watching another episode of the show.The ending issue was nice, although i don't think its official. This series will be a great lead up to the show that's coming back in 2016.

By Lisa Dawn Thank you to Amazon for sending me this a week early. Final thoughts:-I initially though this would be a five-part story like The Threads of Time or The Quest for the Broken Blade, when it was actually five completely separate stories, which was fine itself, but it kind of defeated the purpose of me waiting for the anthology to be released so I could read it all at once. It seems like I could have just read them individually without having to worry about the anticipation of what would happen next.-References. So many references. I can definitely appreciate the respect they gave the original series, especially since this was the last comic book, by referencing many previous episodes of the show in the first four chapters, and then referencing names of voice artists and comic book artists who worked on it in the final chapter. It was a nice homage and a good way of closing things off on a positive note, especially considering the amount respect they paid to the late Mako, who passed away a few years ago.-As it turned out, the ending was very ambiguous, which was mildly disappointing. There was no final confrontation, but there was ton of buildup, leading to nothing. I guess since it wasn't written by Genndy, they wanted the fans to imagine their own ending if or until Genndy makes an official movie, which I can understand, but that still made it rather anti-climactic after all the build-up they gave to this final issue.-I did appreciate the final notes, concept art, and original story outlines at the back of this comic book. That's another reason I'm glad I waited for the final anthology instead of buying the issues individually. Some of the bonus art in the back was better than any of the art in the actual comic book, and reading the final notes from all the artists who worked on it was lovely.So, to conclude, I'm not thrilled with the ambiguity of the ending, but I think this anthology of the final five chapters of the comic book series was worth purchasing due to the sheer amount of respect that the artists gave to Genndy's series by referencing so many characters and artists from it, and it was a very nice note to end it on.

I think that Vio has been through many things in her young life, and I respect her for trying to make the best of her situation. However, from a reader's standpoint, the book is very poorly written, with many grammatical errors. I found this incredibly distracting and wish she would have spent more time trying to articulate her thoughts. I also was annoyed by her anger toward her adoptive family. I totally understand and relate to her experience, as I have been in a very similar situation, however, I think it's a bit bold to write all of her experiences with them off, and act like her entire life with them was horrible. Yes, she experienced a really hard thing, but I'm sure she also had some good experiences as well. I wish she would have been more careful and mature about the way she talked about them. Maybe they don't deserve her love and respect, but her writing style throughout the book is very immature.I find the way she refers to many people as snide and rude. I read this book because she kept posting on her Facebook about it, almost non stop, and figured I would give it a go.I applaud her for the things she has accomplished and continues to accomplish. I think that she's come a long way and ultimately I wish her the best and happiness along the way. Will I recommend this book to others? Honestly, no. I'm sure she will read this comment and get offended, and probably post it on Facebook and say something rude, since that seems to be how she handles many situations, but someone needs to be honest about this book, and I will.

Goebel This young lady is an amazing woman who has endured many things that would break most people yet she has stayed strong and persevered. She is still persevering and a force to be reckoned with.Her book "The Tip Jar" is a heartbreaking yet encouraging read that I highly recommend!The people who have negatively written about this book need to realize this was her first book and was written as a very young woman. Given time, I'm sure she will get much better at her writing style. Please give her a break and over look the grammatical errors and listen to the story that comes from her heart.

By Avid Reader The author seems to have many issues which she is trying to work out in this book. Book is very poorly written. Probably by someone who has no training in writing. Reads like a high school paper. Many grammatical errors. The author would do well to seek some professional help with her unresolved issues. I would encourage her to get a college degree or some training in how to write a book before she attempts another one. There are many issues faced by adoptees from Eastern European countries. The writer should look into some of the psychological issues that are prevalent within this group. Pray that she finds peace.

After reading that one I immediately bought the rest and read them all within a week, then started on the continuation of the Bella series. This author has quickly become one of my favorites, and makes you feel every heartache and happiness as if you know each character personally. I highly recommend the entire collection. Looking forward to more in the series.

I enjoyed reading this book as much as I've enjoyed the others! This is an awesome series. I waited until tonight, "my Friday" night to read it after snuggling in bed with peace & quiet. Very well written & definitely a book to read again in a year or so when I read the Legacy series again from the beginning. Thank you for the beautiful story!

3 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Contains Errors and Typos, Not Well Explained, Not a Comprehensive Guide at All! I don't trust this book. By Mike Saryan The practice test answers are not well explained. Contains errors such as same answer option for different multiple choice options, errors in the multiple choice answers, the book even has tracked changes so it was not proof read. Some of the practice questions are just badly written where I hope the real test doesn't have such poorly written questions that are not clear. The book is sloppy and not a comprehensive guide. You have to look up things online as you go through it because either the answers are not clear or they are simply wrong. I would not rely on this information for the test. I've included a few photos to show just a couple of the sloppy errors. The first two pictures show how they have 4 multiple choices and it says the correct answers if "c" California, however, in the question, California is "a" and Colorado is "c". So, you don't know whether the right answers is a. California or c. Colorado since it is unclear if their typo is the letter or the state name, so you have to look it up online. There are other errors like this and I included this as one example. The third picture shows that they kept tracked changes comments - something a very simple proof read would have caught, but the author or publisher got lazy and sloppy and didn't proof read. Given these errors, I now don't trust the book to give the right answers because some errors are clear like these ones, but there could be other errors which are not so obvious and may consequently teach you the wrong answer.

There is a detailed glossary and a VERY helpful section on real estate math. The 4 practice tests at the end are also extremely helpful. I just feel this book has everything you need and nothing you don't.

The 100 practice test problems really came in handy because they made me look over things that I would have missed if it was the real exam. Highly recommend!
