When Lisa Williams returns to her hometown of Victory, Florida, with a producer of reality TV shows, not everyone is happy to see her, particularly her sister, Susie. Lisa finds herself at odds with everyone in town, even her close friend Tommy who tries to understand and support her dreams of becoming a star. When Tommy is assigned to cover the show's filming as a reporter for the Tampa Tribune, he finds himself at odds with Lisa who he's beginning to think of as more than a friend. Sally Jean returns to the Behind the Love series as Lisa's best friend. But the show threatens to tear them apart as well when the producer wants to make Sally Jean the star rather than Lisa. As Lisa finds herself losing everyone in her life, Tommy struggles to remain her friend, hoping she'll realize that her actor boyfriend Jet isn't any good for her. If he can convince her of that, perhaps he'll stand a second chance at winning her fragile heart.

Review Behind the Curtain is a lively read right in step with the times. Lisa's reunion with her small hometown forces her to take a look at what she really wants for her future. As she navigates the demands of her role in the reality show, she learns the reality of her friendships and discovers the true love of her life. P.C. Zick engages the reader in the twists and turns of the close knit community. ~Kathy Conley, reviewer

From the Author Behind the Curtain took me back to the town I first created in Behind the Altar. I never thought about writing a series, but when readers asked for more, I wrote the second book, Behind the Bar. Soon, I started getting questions about when the next one would be released. Released? I hadn't even started it yet. But nothing could have pushed me to the computer faster than readers asking for more. I wondered if I would have more to write about these characters who'd begun to follow me around.     I did. In fact, Behind the Curtain was the easiest of the three to write because I'd come to know and love all the characters as if they were my family. The book wrote itself quickly and easily. And with its completion, I feel a little bereft. It's a bittersweet experience to finish a series. I'm proud to have come up with three complete stories about these unique and wounded characters who only want to find love, yet I'm going to miss them.     However, once again readers are asking for more. They've been asking since the first book. Sally Jean demands her own story instead of serving as the misunderstood friend. I didn't think this would happen until I wrote Behind the Curtain. Now I see her story must be told as well.

About the Author Bestselling author P.C. Zick writes contemporary romances, featuring strong female leads. She says they are women she'd like to be when she grows up. Her heroes are not always perfect, but they are easy to love.      Her Behind the Love trilogy is set in the fictional town of Victory, Florida, not far from Tampa. The small town produced a pro football player, a publisher of tabloid papers, a tattoo artist, an award-winning journalist, and an actress. Each story shows that love can survive just about anything.     She's currently working on a new series of romances set in the Smoky Mountains.     She divides her time between a cabin retreat in the Smokies and the Panhandle of Florida. Each of these settings inspire and inform her fiction.

By dotland101 Though the third book of Behind the Love Trilogy, this book makes an enjoyable fast pace contemporary romance reading, a good stand-alone story of a would-rather-forget childhood memory in a small town which caught a reality TV show producer's attention. A chance of a life time opportunity at an acting career which threatens Lisa's relationships with her sister, her best friend, and her old childhood friend (which could be more than friend), and just about with everyone else in town upon her return to this small town with TV show and the camera crews in tow. Forced Lisa to find out which is more important in life for her; career vs family and friends who love her.

I still don't feel ready to say goodbye to Victory, Florida, but I did love the way the trilogy ended. This book had such a beautiful storyline, following a couple new characters, but giving us such different and more complex and human sides to existing characters. I was in tears at the end, just so incredibly moved by how the story all came together. I am keeping fingers crossed we have another chance to hang out with these characters and meet the new generation of Victory. My only complaint is that the book goes to fast. I was given a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

I thought this storyline was very unique and I read with great anticipation of what would happen next and how they would get out of it. Lisa wasn’t as likable as I wanted her to be, but Tommy was a prince, his mom was amazing, and as always, Sally Jean was the hit of the book. We seriously need a Sally Jean story! Everyone, characters and readers alike, want Sally Jean to find her true love. hint hint
