Then, in the chapters that follow, Brian will show you what goes into an effective career ministry and how to get one started at your church. An important book for pastors and church leaders!” - Steve Grissom, Founder, Church Initiative: Divorce Care & Grief Share “What a great resource for pastoral care and congregational development as well as for developing a congregational ministry to help people discover their calling from God! Excellent Resource for Job Seekers and Church/Ministry Leaders Alike By Amazon Customer Created for Good Works is an excellent resource for job seekers and church/ministry leaders alike to discover more about jobs, careers and God's calling. My family has personally experienced the timely support, wise guidance, and practical hands-on help of a Crossroads Career Network ministry in our local church. I am so grateful my church leadership saw the need (in fact as the book points out--the number one felt need) for people to have "good jobs" and that the Church can be a vital part of meeting that practical need while pointing people to their deeper need for Christ. Part career guide/ part ministry blueprint, this book is a must-have resource for anyone who lost their job, loves their job, hates their job or wants to help people experiencing any of the above. I would put one in the hands of every church leader I know if I could.
