I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is a novella length contemporary romance with a holiday backdrop, but is a blogger and foodie fan's delight.I confess I am not familiar with the “Greedily Yours" series, but I saw it up on Netgalley and thought it sounded cute, and it can be read as a stand alone. As the holidays approach, Mia is reflecting on how her relationship with Tom has gone from being all warm and tingly to being as cold as the snow falling in Germany, where she and her friend Lizzie are visiting.Amid flashbacks and blog post, we learn that Mia and Tom have a long distance relationship, very busy careers, a dog, plus Tom's father is in very fragile health. But, they were making things work, until suddenly Tom becomes incommunicado and Mia is left wondering what went wrong. While the story is a bit disjointed, with the flashbacks and the random blog post from the past and the present, overall the story is not all that bad. Tom is a bit of an enigma since we don't get his perspective with Mia's thoughts being predominently displayed. But, we leave the couple in a very good place and we are treated to some very intriguing recipes, like: Mia's Boozy Woozy Jamaican Christmas Cake. There isn't really anything here that is all that unique or special, but it was still cute, plus it's a quick lunch break read, so I think we are supposed to have fun with it, which is how I approached it. Overall 3 stars

Christmas-themed love short story By LifeWithJoy Review originally posted on my blog http://www.livinglifewithjoy.com Check out my blog for more reviews, author interviews, excerpts and giveaways!Christmas Cravings was written as part of the Greedily Yours series. I have not read the other books in the series, but as I did, this story can be read alone. I enjoyed Hamilton’s writing, but not necessarily the writing style. I don’t particularly like stories that start off by knowing there’s a problem of something that went wrong in a relationship, and then it proceeds to tell the story of where it all went wrong. I was also a bit confused on the timeline of things from present to past and back again. It turned out to be a nice Christmas-themed love story. It wasn’t my favorite story format, but it did turn out to be a decent story. I would give this one a 3. I see potential in the author, but this one was a bit slow for the first half and a bit confusing on the timeline. The story seemed to drag on for the first half of the story and I think if the author hadn’t gotten into the back and forth timeline format, it would’ve been a 4.3 Stars for this Christmas-themed love short storyI received a complimentary copy from the author through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Snow is on the ground and Christmas lights twinkle in the German Christmas market. The warm, spiced wine is just right, but there's still one key ingredient missing from her romantic dream. Will Mia's Christmas turn out to be sugar and spice and all things nice - or a deflated soufflé of loneliness and regret? As much as I wanted to like this book, it just never clicked for me. I guess its just not my cup of tea. Although Mia and Tom seemed to be a nice enough couple, maybe there just wasn't enough time to really develop in my heart. Not a fan of sailing, so that didn't draw me. Although it sounded like it was fairly well described during a lesson that Mia took.On the plus side:The friendship between Mia & Lizzie was of an enduring kind, so that was nice. The challenges that Tom faced because of past grief made for a different angle. It really was a book that you were able to read all on its own, as promised. There was also a few recipes at the back of the book as well an a look into the book, "Taste Test".I received an ARC via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
