It has real life information and strategies for new counselors, including those things you don't learn in your graduate classes. And I found that it has a lot of helpful tips and resources for experienced counselors as well. I especially liked the sample activities and practical solutions offered throughout the book. The layout of the book allows you to easily pull out the information and resources you need without a lot of searching. A great "go to" resource book for school counselors.

I would have liked the leading lady to be a little less wish washy with choosing which brother to secretly date. There is a big build up to the end and the book closes with one line. No epilogue or any type of closer. I felt a little cheated without an ending to close the whole story. I don't know if this will be a series and I didn't really get to invested in the characters as they were all a little shallow without a lot of background. This is an honest review for a free copy.

I mean it's not unheard of to be in love/lust with two guys but the sheets weren't cold in one brother's bed and she was in the other brother's bed. She was really experienced for an 18 year old who'd only slept with her high school BF. Finally, the author really needs to hire an editor--seriously.

For one thing the heroine she was so fickle it was not even funny.i just did not like her. I thought Logan was to good for her. As for Austin ugh he did not know what he wanted. I am sorry but this book did not do it for me .

From positive parenting discussion to teenagers samples and situations was really a big help. I may not be a parent today but what I learned now will definitely leave a mark to me. I could share these learning to my friends who are already parents.What really strikes me is the communication part. When I was a kid, even though I was a trouble and I feel so embarrassed, my Mom never never made me feel that I can not reach her and I am able to approach her. This leads to a more honest relationship between a parent and a child. Communication is really a key when raising a child.Another point is, the independence part, Ms. Deedley also tackles the importance of giving independence to their child at a young age. Even how unimportant it is, still it is independence in their understanding. The child will feel be more valued and have a sense of achievement. This kind of parenting will make the child an independent adult with sense of responsibility.This book is very likely to recommend for first time parent.

My grandson starting reading the series in kindergarten. He is now in 6th grade and has read every one of the books. He decided he was to old to continue reading this series, but when I tell him a new one is going to be published, he asks if I will get it for him.

She obtained a Bachelors of Arts with Focus in Psychology from DePaul University and Masters of Applied Professional Studies with focus in Business Administration from the like institution. Working in Hospital Administration for the majority of her career, Watkins has also been an author of fiction literature since the young age of nine. Eventually she used writing as an outlet during her freshmen year of high school as a single parent: "In the third grade I entered a short story contest with a fiction tale of an apple tree that refused to grow despite the efforts of the darling main character. My writing evolved from apple trees to my seventh and eighth grade classmates paying me to read novels I wrote about kids our age living the lives our parents wouldn't dare let us". At the age of twenty-eight, Watkins' chronicles have matured into steamy, humorous, and realistic tales of African American Romance and Urban Fiction. King & Kennedy still hold the spot as my favorite couple & Siren did not disappoint in being the sheisty, shady, b**** she was known for in part 1. There was so much drama going on that there was no way I could put it down until the end. I guess its true that whats done in the dark will come to light! Poor Jada was caught up in the middle of the drama with her "friends" & had her own situation going on. She seems like a really genuine friend/girlfriend that understands loyalty. I wonder how Dolla is gonna get out of this? I hope Meech gets him self together & is able to be with London, after Siren meets her fate. I hate to see King in his present predicament but hopefully the love that he & Kennedy share will prevail. Waiting on part 3 to get the answer to all my questions & assumptions. Hopefully it wont be long. Another 5 star banger by a very talented author.

Can I get an advanced copy of part 3?Jessica has done it again! She has delivered another nail biting book that leaves readers on the edge of their seat and emotionally unstable. You know it's serious when you're ready to jump in a book and ready to handle business yourself. There are one too many secrets being hidden in this book and they all may very well bring Kennedy to her knees or make her stronger than ever.King though he's practically every woman's dream man, he holds probably the worst secret of all. I got faith that he'll make it right. Dolla secret my be the straw that breaks the camel's back. He missed out on multiple opportunities to come clean and he passed. Now that he's forced to tell her, hopefully Jada don't kill him. Siren really tried it this book lmao. I got big giggles out of her trying to play hard ball. She got played everytime. Meech deserves to happy after loving her scandalous behind for so long.I'm excited to see what's going to happen when Siren's secrets are exposed to everyone. Detective Maria smh is a jealousy club thot! I can't take her serious and I hope her little plan blows up in her face. So bitter!!!!!Great read from beginning to end! Definitely a must read!

I'm going to start with Siren shady self. I can't not stand her! She's not loyal & im so tired of her slithering around like the snake she is. I love Meech & I really feel for him. For this man to step up & be in Elijah's life as a father figure & then find who his real father is had to hurt. I loved him & London together. I feel like their relationship was solid & Meech deserves a good woman.Now Dolla.....SMH! I can't even!!!! The drama he got going on is just beyond me. What happen to Megan was messed up & now Dolla is in a deeper hole than he was to begin with. Poor Jada. It's one thing to feel like your significant other is cheating, but when she finds out about the babies I know it's going to crush her. Especially when she learns their names...smh. I can't wait to see that situation unfold.Now King & Kennedy...Lawd Have Mercy! I can't imagine the pain Kennedy felt while listening to the conversation between King & Meech. I know her heart shattered into a million pieces. I just hope Kings finds her & Kayla safe & sound!! I love King & his love for Kennedy is something serious. I hope Kennedy is willing to allow him to explain the situation. King will do anything for his precious Kennedy & I hate to see a solid bond like theirs be broken over this Elijah news. I feel like it if they separate for good, Siren will feel as if she has the upper hand. Ugh, I just love this series! Jessica is Lethal with her pen game. I already know A thugs Love 3 is going to be LIT!!!

Their relationship has been full of drama and love ftom the beginning... Renée was less than impressed with Cedric's job as a writer, and his pursuing of her only adds to her questioning of this man that drives her crazy, yet makes her stomach twitch with nervous energy.At the end of book 1, Renée was at an impasse, forgive Cedric and move forward with him or walk away forever. As His Muse's Fidelity begins, it is very clear that Renée has returned to him and they are happy living their partial BDSM life while real life plays around them. But while they settle into their comfortable life and Cedric's new book release, Renée comes face to face with a woman that warns her about him and his ability to ruin her. Unsure if she can trust the strange woman, and Cedric shutting down any answers that may help her she is left questioning their relationship and if she can really trust him.Calling on best friend, Lesley she vents all of her questions to her. Knowing she must take this on her own and figure out if Cedric really is the man for her or once again walk away. Ms May brings the answers we were all left with from the first book on the story of Renee and Cedric. If you remember in the first book Renee met Cedric when her friend talked her into going with her to a reading with this author. In this book it describes the story much better. Renee is pushed by Cedric to move in with him. That she doesn't need to work or anything. He can take care of them both. Cedric is moody when writing a book but even more so when he has to do personal appearances. Cedric's mother shows up and confuses Renee since Cedric told her she was no where near them. Also, an ex of Cedric's shows up. They both try to get her to leave Cedric. Trying to convince her that he is evil. No, he's not evil, he just is a very good Dom. Renee is the perfect sub for him. He pushes her boundaries, just as any good Dom would do. But, will Renee let them get to her? Can she keep dealing with Cedric's push for her to move in with him? Well, you will have to read this chapter of their lives to find out.

By Tiffany Davis I must say that I feel like the author, Linnea May, read my last review and wrote this story just for me! This is the companion novel to His Secret Muse. This book answered almost all of the questions that I had about Cedric and Renee's relationship and the characters themselves. Renee is truly in love with Cedric, but because of his lack of wanting to talk about himself, she starts to doubt whether or not he is truly serious about her, especially when his mother and ex-girlfriend show up making similar claims and warning her of just that! This book has quite a few twists and turns and since I am not one to spoil a book for someone who is just reading reviews to see if the book is worth the read, I must say that this book is certainly worth your time. I can honestly say that after reading it, I am comfortable with the way the story ends..... However, I would not be upset if the next book had to do with Renee's loud, outspoken, best friend Lesley... hint hint!!!! I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
