First-time, dipping in to grab a few of the many nuggets of valuable help and then once again in more detail - to let the concepts sink in further and come up with great ideas of my own. By Nenad Bach Let me start with the statement: Jamie Cohen is a brilliant man. This is not just a book, because it has links to many videos, films etc. This is not just a manual for teachers although every single teacher and a student should read it. This is not just an Autobiography of a man who is in search of his own creativity. This is all above. A new form of literature that combines a practical advice in education that reads like a novel with the touch of glamour, struggle and so much needed solution. Jamie found his home, his domain, his passion and his nobility that only the greatest can find it. It is an easy read with a lot of descriptions that defines that inner space between words and emotions. It is intriguing almost like a thriller deeply rooted in Human Rights issues as well. This is the way all student should be taught in 21st century to unleash their own creativity. If Jamie could be the teacher to all the students in the world, The World would be much better place, with no wars and more justice and happiness for all.

As a trainer and coach I read a lot of books. I'm always looking for a way to make my educational sessions better and more engaging. I picked up Live From Your Class by Jamie Mason hoping to learn a few tricks on how to make my training more humorous - and I got that. What I didn't expect is how massively engaging this entire work is!Jamie Mason uses a ton of very interesting personal experiences to illustrate the tips and tricks he is sharing. It's very engaging. Because I that I couldn't put it down and finished it in three days.Don't let the title of this book fool you. I was expecting a few tips on adding humor to my teaching effort. What I discovered is that in addition to the humor there is a ton of practical, cutting-edge tips on how to engage both young and adult learners. I found the tip lists and summaries extremely illuminating and there is a substantial section at the end with ton of useful resources for trainers and educators.For me this work hit the sweet spot. It was engaging, humorous and loaded with practical tips. What more do you want in a book? For me that's just about perfect.
