Stars!One thing that gets me excited as a reader, is when an author thinks outside of the box when it comes to writing their romances. I like things a bit different, stories a little away of the norm, and let’s face it most of the romance and love stories you generally read, are all about beginnings, first meeting, first sexy-times and so on. So when an author writes a book about what is potentially the end of a relationship I am interested.Although, in a way These Three Words covers the beginnings as well, because the story starts with Addie Grayson, preparing to end her marriage with her husband, but before she can the unthinkable happens and what then follows is an emotive and heart-felt journey through the beginnings of their relationship in the telling of stories and her recollections of past happenings and pivotal moments between them.Everyone I spoke to reminded me of something.Told largely from a hospital waiting room, Addie tells parts of her and Gray’s story to the many and varied people she meets whilst holding on for news of him. If you aren’t a fan of flashback stories this may not be the one for you, but for me it worked and really well, because although you are kept in the present, the memories and reminiscing of the highs and lows of their relationship, and the revelation of what ultimately was the ’straw that broke the camel’s back’ between them were mixed in perfectly with the current situation Addie and Gray are in.”A relationship should be a dialogue, not a monologue.”This book was almost a five star read for me, I loved the epilogue, the only thing that I felt deserved a little more time spent on it was the latter stages of the book and what transpires between them after the situation that puts her in the hospital waiting room initially is dealt with. An Emotional Read By Shari B A powerful emotional journey Of Addie and Gray, on why they fell in love and how to overcome the tragedy in their marriage. Addie and Gray have been friends since kindergarten, so it's just the right coarse to get married. Addie was always the talker and risk taker, while Gray wanted everything planned out and timed and did not show his emotions. When tragedy hits their marriage, Gray did not show his emotions when Addie needed him the most. Addie walks away from their marriage. When a crisis happens again, Addie remembers why they fell in love. The story is told in Addie's POV, in back flashes. Two sets of the most important three words, Here I am and I Love You. Plus, ice cream is always good! This is the first Holly Jacobs book I have read, now I am going to read the rest. A beautiful written book!! I received this book from netgalley for an honest review.

It is a very emotional book that I couldn't put it down. Also I really enjoyed having a character from a previous book make an appearance in this one. I would highly recommend it to other readers.

I feel like my emotions are still all over the place after finishing. The one thing I can tell you is that I could not put this book down! This is the first book I have read in awhile that I just had to keep reading and didn't want to set it down for anything. I stayed up way past my bedtime, but I just had to find out what was going on with Evie and Cole! If Only... was so good and I can't wait for more from Beckie Stevenson.Evie and Cole's relationship started when they were kids, and their story should have been a fairytale. Until one day and one lie changed everything. Years later they are both still feeling the heartbreak and sadness from losing each other. But when fate brings them back together will it finally bring them closure to move on, or will it be their second chance at the happy ending they always wanted with each other?I loved Evie and Cole! They were so easy to like, even with all the times that they absolutely frustrated me. Both of them made mistakes and they were far from perfect. Yet they were real and showed vulnerability, and I couldn't help but feel so invested in each of them and their future together. Evie and Cole both thought that they knew everything about the event that separated them, but it was clear right from the start that they didn't. I loved seeing that all unravel as each of them learned the truth. My heart broke for them both and all they had been through. The one thing that was clear though was the fact that their connection, chemistry and the undeniable love they shared had never dimmed or gone away despite everything.I will warn potential readers that this story won't be for everyone. It is filled with angst and drama, and there are a lot of things that could potentially frustrate readers about this story. I personally love to torture myself at times with stories about love and loss and heartbreak, so this book was one that I really enjoyed even when I hated what was happening. But I really believe that this book is worth the shot, especially if you like second chance love stories. While I wasn't happy about a lot that had happened for these two and I didn't like a few things that each of them did, the story was such a great one that I found myself easily forgiving them and getting lost in their connection. Evie and Cole's their journey was anything but easy, but I never stopped believing in their love and that they were meant to be together. The minute I started it, I was intrigued! I read it in one day...I couldn't put it down! I loved that when the story was in Cole's POV, we got the past and when it was in Evie's POV, we got the present. It allowed me to be able to see the way their relationship started and how they got to where they are now. I loved the part when Cole told Evie what he thought their first date would be like. I think that's when I fell in love with him. There really isn't anything else to say about Cole other than, how much I loved him! If I were to meet him, I would have to say the exact same thing he said to Evie!“I’m so in love with you,” I tell her. “Completely and utterly head over heels in love with you."Yup! That pretty much sums it up! I know I will never meet him, but if I did, that would be me! And then, I would jump on him! LOL!! Ugh... I'm just so sad that the story had to end. I seriously could have kept reading about them forever. Cole and Evie had a really cute relationship. I also liked when they were talking about how often a 16 year old boy wanks it! That was another laugh out loud moment for me! I'm so happy with the way things turned out for them! I really liked all of the characters from this story. Especially Aiden! I laughed so hard when he was explaining his drawing to Evie! Then when Clive shows up and he reminds Evie about his drawing, I couldn't stop laughing. I would love to see a story written about him! There's just something about that boy that tells me his story would be HOT! So...Beckie Stevendon, if you're trying to figure out what to write about next, Aiden's story would be my vote! It's fairy tale perfect until Cole keeps a secret and then tells a lie that ends their story.....until 8 years later, they end up working together and find they still have a connection. But, Evie has a secret too.I loved the dual POV. The past was told by Cole, the present by Evie. This book had a lot of funny surprises, including how much we were in Cole's 16 year old sexed up head. It was REALLY funny. Cole as an adult, not funny, but smoking hot and such a filthy mouth! Evie fought her attraction to him and she was an angry bitch. I wanted to judge Evie - ok I judged Evie - for not forgiving him sooner but her secret changed how I viewed her and helped me understand why she was so mad.This was a twisty book. It was two different love stories in one, young Cole and Evie and adult Cole and Evie. This book had everything. Love, laughter, death, friendship, lies, misunderstandings, angst, first-times, heartache, romance, sex. It was sometimes too much and became a little too fantastical even for fiction. I also felt there were some items that wrapped up quickly and left me wondering. NO spoilers, but the phone call to her brother that changed everything WAS gut-wrenching.Overall, I read this book in one day. If you love angsty, soul destroying books, with a redeeming HEA, this is definitely a story you want to read.

Owen needs to discover what happened in the past, something that has everything to do with him, but he isn't allowed to know what it is. Will both of them find what they are looking for?What Rosie Found Next is a lovely, sweet story about two people who haven't had the easiest childhoods. Rosie has been through something very sad and she could use some more cheerfulness in her life. Owen loves to travel, he's a free spirit and he's a tough guy who rides a bike. Underneath he has a heart of gold and I immediately liked him very much. Rosie is kind and caring and she has a lot of love to give. I really liked that about her. I enjoyed reading about their friendship and interaction. I love how Helen J Rolfe lets food play a vital part in her stories. What they like and how they prepare it reveals so much about people, about who they are and what's important to them. She uses it to make her characters come to life and it works.Magnolia Creek is prone to fires. It's a beautiful setting, but the area isn't risk free. It was interesting to read about the firefighters. They're doing such a meaningful and brave job. The story taught me more about what they do and how they do it. Fire plays a key part in the book, something that's being revealed bit by bit.For me the best part of this story was the interaction between Rosie and Owen. I read the book in one sitting as I kept being curious. Something else I really enjoyed reading about was Christmas. It was fun to read about the way both Rosie and Owen were celebrating the holiday and even though What Rosie Found Next isn't a Christmas story it definitely has enough Christmas magic in it to make me feel festive. I love Helen J Rolfe's writing. All of her books are amazing and I highly recommend them.

She went through a lot in her past and just wants to be cared for and safe. Her boyfriend Adam is barely there, always far away in another country for work. They wanted to settle down and buy a house, but it never happened. I wasn’t sure from the beginning what to think of their relationship, I just felt that Rosie wasn’t happy and didn’t understand why she never did anything about it.Owen Harrison arrives at his parent’s house and there she is Rosie. They have a bit of a rocky start, but after a while they start to enjoy each other’s company and talk a lot. They spend a lot of time together and had a connection from the start, they’re banter is unique and they way they call each other ;). Owen realised his feelings pretty fast, but it took Rosie much longer. With Adam still popping by and being there, the situation didn’t get easier.Connected to the house is also a secret around Owen’s mum, of course that’s bound to be discovered, but by whom? Let me just tell you that there will be some misunderstandings.To be honest: I took me quite a while to get into this book, which was weird, because I fell in love with the idea immediately. I guess I have expected something different and sadly enough I just couldn’t relate to Rosie at all and her thoughts and decisions made me crazy sometimes. Some scenes in the storyline were flown over or just happened really fast and that was a pity in my eyes.There were still some great moments in this story and I really enjoyed it, especially towards the end.I really liked Owen, following him around was great and his feelings came across beautifully in this book.The setting and the surroundings in this book are just fabulous, I absolutely loved hanging around the house with Owen and Rosie and their scenes were by far my favourites. Helen has a fresh, young voice and I the ending of this book is fab!!! I really want to hear more about Owen’s and Rosie’s lives.

No stress, no fussing, just relaxation and enjoyment. That’s exactly how I felt when I read What Rosie Found Next by Helen Rolfe. It’s no spoiler to say that there’s a happy ending, and that’s something the reader senses right from the start, but how to keep the reader interested? It’s not an easy task to convince the reader to keep turning the pages, but Helen Rolfe succeeds delightfully. What’s her recipe? She makes sure we’re interested in the characters and the plot. I was really interested in Rosie and her life, which was at an emotional and professional crossroads, and of course, I was also interested in Owen’s family secret. It was fun to watch their interaction, from his first unexpected intrusion, moving on to friendship, and more. There were also some ups and downs to the romance and twists in the plot, mainly due to a love triangle, including Rosie’s boyfriend, and Owen’s family secret.I loved the setting in Magnolia Creek, in Australia, including various visits to nearby beaches. It was also interesting to read about how the population prepares for and deals with bushfires. I’m impatiently looking forward to reading more books in this series.I received an ARC from Brook Cottage Books in exchange for an honest review.

In fact, it’s a collection of only slightly scary stories about monsters, ghosts, and evil people. I’ve read much scarier books, but I like it because some of it can be funny too.The first story, "Mr. Shocky" by Michael Buckley, was actually the scariest because it’s about imaginary friends who may kill you if you forget them. Will the imaginary friends kill someone?"Don’t Eat the Baby" by Kelly Barnhill is the funniest part of the book. An older brother has BO. “'Brothers are not that great. They steal your stuff and make fun of you and play too rough. Plus? They stink.'" This was for sure true for Jamal’s oldest brother, who was a wrestler on the high school squad. He had BO even if he had only just gotten out of the shower. Also, it was true of his youngest brother, who was still in diapers and could stop a herd of elephants with one whiff from his butt.” How is this story terrifying?"My Ghost Story" by Dave Pilkey is my favourite. The drawings of the characters and the humor remind me of his Captain Underpants series. What’s there not to like?"The Mandigore" by Claire Legrand is the coolest story in the collection. Two kids visit the library and there are lots of freaky children with fangs and masks who try to kill them. Grandma Ruby is just awesome because she tells the future. Will the kids get eaten? Read the book and find out.I recommend this book to kids who kind of like being scared, but not really.

That I enjoyed reading this volume just as much as the previous books in the series? Well, yes, I suppose I could write that, but then again, oh, wait! I just did! Another great book in the "Guy's Read" series. You go!
