About the Author TERRY LEE, author of award winning Saving Gracie and Partly Sunny, has a long genetic lineage of writers in her family, although her official nudge didn’t surface until 2006. When it did, her passion sprouted, blossomed, and then BOOMED! Terry, a native Houstonian, held a license as a chemical dependency counselor for over twenty years, and still holds a licensure in massage therapy. In 2004, Terry trained as a volunteer for Houston Hospice. "A life-changing training session I believe would benefit everyone," she quoted. It relates personalities, how they are affected by life's circumstances and most definitely by close friendships. It takes much effort to maintain most friendships but is so worth that effort! Thanks, Terry for a really great book and a timeless, treasured and priceless friendship!

These Bad Ass girls highlight a memorable multi-decade journey By Chloe Before anyone screams because I've given this a 4 star rating, let me say that having read Terry's debut novel, Saving Gracie, anything else she writes simply cannot compare. Lee's first amazing book left an indelible mark on me and there are many times I recall lines from SG, as it reminds me of my relationship with my daughter. I'm sure others disagree with my rating for Time Trials as it is a well written, engaging journey showcasing the differing lives of college friends and the variety of changes they encounter over time.Author Lee provides readers with background on all the Bad Ass Girls, thusly showing us how family dynamics influence who we become in adulthood and how we learn from mistakes - or unfortunately repeat them. I was enticed by this recap of long term college friendships, because I attended three colleges for about one year each, and the only college friends I remain close to today are those from NYU. This proves distance doesn't matter if the friendship is solid. Time Trials covers a multitude of emotions that will have readers laughing and crying.I absolutely adored the way all characters were developed from their college years through senior citizen status - some with children and grandchildren of their own. Beginning with the death of one of the BAGS, these pals reunite and give us a peek into how true friendships impact our lives, no matter how much time passes and how infrequently we see or talk to one another.

So fun and the characters are so great By Amazon Customer This book reached into my heart and tugged on all the fond memories of my own friends and those of my mom that I grew up admiring. Terry Lee writes in such a vivid and exciting way that you wont want to put this book down. So fun and the characters are so great!!!
